My name is Angela and I have Chiari Malformation. After undergoing a decompression surgery on September 2nd, 2015, I decided to create a website to not only document my journey, but to share stories from others around the world. Prior to the surgery, for obvious reasons, I was terrified. I was reading multiple horror stories from patients in different support groups. I nearly cancelled my surgery AT LEAST twice. My goal is to give patients with Chiari Malformation a more positive outlook on the procedure itself and to provide support to those living with this horriable disease on a daily basis.
